We are pleased to announce that Abigai has achieved employment as an evening ward host role before completing the Project SEARCH programme in July. Abigail has worked so hard and been very dedicated in her role that her manager has offered her employment. Congratulations Abigail a fantastic achievement for her and so well deserved!
Abigail employed as an evening Ward Host on the 14th Floor Dementia and Elderley Ward at the Royal London Hospital. The first intern from second year at The Royal London Hospital to gain employment!
Royal London interns came in during their Easter Break to attend a Workshop Week in preparation for their final placements. Activities included work tasters, interview practise, and CV writing. Elaine Colquhoun sent a card to every intern who attended, commending them for their “dedication to Project SEARCH” and wishing them “every success with moving into a job”. All Royal London interns really enjoyed attending a job fair on the 27th April 2018 with job coaches support to look at different recruiters at the Shepherd’s Bush Westfield Excel Recruitment fair.
The 2018 Project SEARCH Graduation will be taking place on 12th July at Mile End Hospital. We are looking forward to a wonderful evening celebrating the achievements of interns and our partnership with Barts Health Trust.
